The Bible is our sword and our defender. It is a weapon to use in Spiritual Warfare. We cannot defend ourselves if we do not know God’s word. I want to challenge you to not only memorize these verses, but to meditate on them daily. Let them find a place in your heart. May they encourage you, uplift you, bring you joy, and comfort you.
I am making verse cards for this scripture memory challenge! I wanted to do something simple to help prep for the coming weeks. Verse cards are a great way to memorize scripture!
Our thoughts are our biggest enemies. We can be so captivated by the things of this world and they find a home in our mind. If we are not filling our minds and hearts with things from God, the world will fill them with garbage.
May God open our eyes to see TRUTH, and not what the world defines truth as.
Bible journal with me for Week 2 of our Scripture Memory Challenge. This week's verse is Philippians 4:8. I wanted to show you guys how I am preparing for the week and how I am digging deep.
God has given us a checklist of sorts to correct and discern our thoughts. Our minds are a powerful weapon. If we are not filling ourselves with godly things, we are opening ourselves to the devils attacks. From our hearts come wicked desires - fed by defiled thoughts, leading to corrupt actions.
Today I just wanted to talk about the scripture memory challenge. I wanted to share my thoughts on how it is going and about these verses. I hope this challenge is effecting you as much as it is me.
Pray for the Holy Spirit’s conviction in your life. Pray for intentionality in your relationship with Christ. Pray for your testimony.
